Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)

Our goal is to support our shippers and carrier partners transition to zero emissions vehicles. We are aiming to transition 5-10% of the trucks in our core network to zero-emission vehicles on suitable routes, with short haul applications being the immediate focus.

Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) have already demonstrated their effectiveness in short-distance and last-mile freight deliveries. However, barriers such as higher purchase prices and operational constraints still exist.

At Ofload, we're committed to helping shippers and carriers navigate these challenges with a robust BEV adoption plan.

Our Approach

Data-Driven Analysis

We analyse factors such as distance, weight, and route conditions to identify electrification opportunities.

Financing Support

With the higher cost of electric trucks, we offer flexible financing or leasing options through our finance and leasing partners iFleet Selection

We leverage our relationships with major truck manufacturers to secure the best deals and match the right vehicles to the right jobs.

Fleet and Charging

We help carriers choose the right truck and charging infrastructure for the work. We support carriers in setting up charging within their depot and also support them in accessing suitable public charging infrastructure.

Utilisation Guarantees

To reduce the risks of adopting BEVs for our carrier partners, we offer utilisation commitments for the length of the lease or payback period.
